Minister of Settlement, Tzachi Hanegbi, visits SUPERGUM headquarters and factory

The Minister of Settlement, Tzachi Hanegbi, visited the Supergum factory this week. The tour, led by CEO Yaniv Hadad, included an overview of all the factory’s departments, from the planning and engineering department, through the production, quality control and packaging departments. During the visit, the minister had a closer look into the production processes of military equipment produced by Supergum’s and supplied regularly to the IDF and other armies around the world.

The Supergum Company, is one of the pioneers in the rubber and plastics industry in Israel. Since the outbreak of the corona, Supergum has gone deep into the production of respiratory protection equipment  

Minister Hanegbi, had also toured the surgical mask production plant established at the beginning of the Corona period.

During the visit, Minister Hanegbi said: “The Ministry of Settlement recognizes the importance of surgical mask production in Israel strategically, economically and occupationally. Especially now at the height of the crisis, the industry needs the support of the government to prefer locally produced goods over imports from foreign countries.
